What would you use this for?

commonly used for making adjustable jigs in the woodworking industry. Lets say you make raised panel cabinet doors for three different sizes. sliding the stop back and forth makes it very easy to change sizes.

Its also used to make hold downs for people who do a jot of router work

My dad has quite a bit of the T-track in his wood shop. He has limited use of his left hand and has come up with a number of uses for the track.
He has an auxiliary table on his drill press and used the track for hold down clamps and material stops. He also added it to his radial arm saw table for the same reason. He also added it to the auxiliary fence on his table saw to hold feather boards in place. He also has it on top of the extention fence on his chop saw for a material stop.

You are only limited by your imagination as to what you can do with it.
