What year and type of knife is this? I think it may be a buck 110.

Buck introduced the finger grooves on the 110 around 2005 I believe. That info might be on the Buck website.

That's definitely older. Early 70's maybe. The finger grooves were introduced in the 80's but that isn't a factory job. Notice there are only 3 pins. From 78ish on they had 4. I'm not an expert but that's about as close as I can figure. But, if you post this in the buck forum, some one else can pinpoint it for you. I'm not gonna lie, I'm jealous of that one. That's one of the good ones

That picture makes it look like that hand has extra fingers. Definitely an older 110 with a do it yourself finger groove job.

Thank you for the insight I will definitely post a picture on the buck forum to figure out the exact year.

Buck 110's are my favorite. I have several of them but the guys over at the buck forum put me to shame with their collections. The factory finger grooves are more rounded out. But that is definitely one of the good ones. Well, are all good ones but that's one of the better good ones. :)
