I boght this in a pawn shop, This is the deepes finger grove buck 110 I ever found,I was wondering if there a year this particular knife was made, it has •110• I know it from 74-80 but is there a year for this deep grove one, any information is welcome

A few years ago I bought a deep grooved two dot 110 off the bay and was told that the finger grooved 110 was after the three dot. So mine was a home made finger groove.

I believe you have a home made or custom made Buck 110 Finger Groove. OH

I have a two dot 112. The two dot knives, according to Buck's website, were made between 1974 and 1980. The handle should be macassar ebony and the blade is 440c steel.

Woops, I didn't see you already knew it was a 74-80. :o According to the data sheet in the sticky, I think this is the 110 you may have. I don't know much about the finger grooves, though.

Variation7 (1974-1980)23
Stamp:BUCK, *110*, U.S.A., left hand. Read with tip point up, 440C steel.
Blade/Buttrivets: Visible onboth sides of bolsters, 2 rear, 1 front.
Inlayrivets: 3 (largeheaded)
Rockerrivet: Stainless,headed.
Sheath:Black leather. C.
Packaging:“2 piece yellowbox about 2” high-(2), Use and Care leaflet dated 4/77-(1),10/76-(1), “Attention” leaflet orange-(2), white tissue-(1), AlBuck note-(1)”, 1 piece yellow box about 2” high-(3), Use andCare leaflet dated 12/78-(1), Al Buck note-(2).

If I had to guess, and I'm probably wrong, I'd say your 110 was made near the end of the 74-80 timespan.

Yes, finger grooves deep like those are home jobs. 2 dot 110's were mfg. from 1974-79 perhaps even early 80. DM

Well, it looks exactly like edbeau knife, I wonder were that made custom by some company, or some guy and selling them as custom bucks, mine looks original
