Hello guys, i am new to this forum but not new to the outdoors or blades. I just bought the BK9 and as you all know its shealth has the outside gear pocket. Its not huge but has little room to put some survival stuff in it. That leads me to my question. What essential survival gear would you put in it other than a firestarter. ( i currently just through a magnessium flint it there cuz i had one lying around) Any and all ideas would be great thanx

If it was me, some cordage, maybe some wire, some tinder, like PJCB's or something, maybe a smaller knife like a small SAK or something, and a whistle. Probably loads more I could add, but that would start it off I think.

A SAK, A stone, cordage, condom, pj balls, water tabs, and a ferro rod. Small mirror and LED light like the Streamlight Nano come to mind.

Im not a fan really of a ton of PSK stuff on a sheath. If it was me Id have a SAK Farmer, and a ferro rod. maybe a DC3 sharpener too.
