Most of the guys I work with EDC either a pocketed slip-joint or a small to medium tactical. Just a guess though, I don't know if this holds true across the board.
 
Almost everybody I know has a small folder with a pocket clip, usually a good one that you can flip out with one hand. The other popular knife I see is a small Swiss Army. Gotta have that toothpick and scissors.
 
I'd say nearly every knife is popular in this forum, but in the group I hang around with I'd go with Tactical Folders and Fixed Blades.
 
The gents at work who carry knives mostly carry slipjoints. Some carry lockbacks, but few are one-hand openers.

World wide, definitely slipjoints. If not slipjoints, traditional lockbacks (a large percentage of which will be 110s are 110 knockoffs, I'd wager).
 
I personally only carry waved folders. 75% of my collection are waved folders.
