Puttin' this big thing on the primo grill tomorrow for a few hours of slow cook smoking goodness. Daughters had to spend today with in-laws so we get 'em tomorrow for a 1 day delayed Christmas. Got some apple wood to throw in with the lump charcoal. All the 15 got to do today was cut some string. Stuffing will go in it when it's almost done. I think the 5 may get the call tomorrow when it's time to slice 'er up. I'll update tomorrow.

So, anybody cooking anything good this weekend?

It's a little blurry. Martini was already kicking in.

Two Ducks roasted, not a Becker in sight.....My folk's kitchen cutlery needs a little maintenance. Actually, I had my Cam 11 with me......but it wasn't what was required for carving up duck. Tasted great, regardless.

i made a prime rib roast with a simple rub consisting of salt, pepper, garlic, sage, rosemary, thyme, and olive oil. the herbs were grown by my wife. and i have to say that the roast tasted so darn good, that rub came out better than expected, you could really taste the sublte flavor of those fresh herbs.

Update of first post...

It turned out just right. The BK5 got the call for slicing.
