don't know. There also was this guy who sold composite handles, haven't seen him around either???
If you do a web search you'll find that there have been legal issues between him and others which might be the reason he's not contributing anymore.
I attempted to contact him in 2010 to learn more about his interaction with Pete LaGana (Vietnam Tomahawk), no luck.
Andy Prisco is the current owner of American Tomahawk Company right? I think I may have spoken with him on the phone a few months ago. I called the number on ATC's website to ask if they carried a warranty on their VTAC's and I spoke with a very nice and polite guy who told me they don't exactly have an official warranty on their hawks but that he would replace the handle if I ever manged to break it. However, he assured me it would be near impossible to break the handle to which I 100% believe. The VTAC's are built tougher than tanks. I believe he also mentioned to watch the video of his truck running over the handle of the VTAC. (I saw it and it really impressed me.)
I'm not sure if it was Andy Prisco or someone affiliated with Fehrman Knives though. Or maybe Mr. Fehrman himself!
You spoke to Andy there Metal Made...........just not Andy Prisco.
And yes, he will back up the VTAC with ANY issues you may have with it at no charge, although I doubt you will have any. ;-)
My understanding is that after it went belly up in 2003, the company rights were sold to Fehrman Knives in 2004, where the VTAC is produced.
