Looking through an older knife mag last night, I saw an ad for a nice little utility knife called the "Lil Ugly". Are there any of these around and how could a person pick one up?

We only made about 450 of the Li'l Uglies. They disappeared with the Steel Heart One in 1994. We replaced it with the steroid enhanced Mean Street. I have never seen one come up for sale . . . . anywhere. . . Where did they go?

Well, Dammit, somebody has them! I can see it now, one guy in Alabama has them all in his closet. :)

I have an old issue of Fighting Knives that had this ad. Hope I am not stepping on anyones toes by putting it up. Remember this is an old ad with old info.

Now there would be a 10th or 20th Anniversary model!!!
Same specs, just made in INFI!!!!:D

Man, that would almost be worth sacrificing part of my anatomy for....

Very sweet.

Calling Captain Carling, 20th anniversary line inclusion, or custom shoppe offering (like how I classed up by spelling it "shoppe"??)

"It's easy to see.....
Who it was named after.... hahahahahahahahaha......."

hmmmmm. . . . . How wrong you are! If it had been after me it would've been called "A Whole Lotta Ugly". ;)

Yours in nuclear ugliness,

Jerry

What a sweet looking little fella! (the knife that is ;) ) But, like Chip said, "In INFI!!" The Li'l Ugly looks like it would be a perfect companion to a Battle Mistress or Steel Heart as a "big knife, little knife" combo.

Yeah, that in INFI would be nice :) Think I would also want to switch over to canvas micarta for a little more grip on a knife that small.

I thought linen micarta was actually the stronger of the three ( Paper, canvas, linen) Or is the linen more decorative. I think paper micarta is suposed to be the most color rich and none of them are really bad handle materials.

Ryu, good question, I don't know which is stronger. Was thinking of the canvas micarta just for a more positive grip in wet use situations rather than strength.

I think you're right though, that micarta is an all around good dependable handle material.

I Should'a known. Jerry is a power freak. He's like Tim the tool man. MORE POWER! if it's the strongest around you can bet it's goin on a Busse. He Jerry why not textured INFI handle slabs. Boy they'd be cold as all get outs in the winter.
