whatever happened to the spyderco poliwog? i was gonna buy one and could not find anything anywhere. why did spyderco discontinue such an awesome knife?

For the usual reason, poor sales. There are still a ton of poor fakes out there, but they just aren't the same as the original.

I had one...traded it to my brother.
As an engineer he loves the knife...and with its small blade, no one cares around the office.

I have the G10 version. It's my only Spyderco etched with my initials.
