I can't speak for anyone else but i did not do mine for freebies....I do get asked about it alot it is a bad ass logo....Me and my tat guy still have to get off of work at the same time so he can ad the banner and my pack #171 now that we know how we are doing it......ps Mechtecs tat looks pretty bad ass too.:thumbup:

Also I do plan on adding the esee to the tat upon completion of at minimun the stateside coarse, but hopefully the sa coarse.

I have a tattoo around my navel. It depicts a chicken walking South. Any prize for that?

Just kidding. I'm so covered in scars I need no other marks on my poor old self.

I didn't get mine for a freebie niether but's it's nice and appreciated!!
As far as I know me and drew are the only ones yet.
This makes my fourth tat over a twenty year span, and all were done to signify something to me. The first was a native buffalo skull as I was interested shaminism and still have somewhat of that belief on occasion which is hard to explain.
My second was an archaic symbol for the word TAO as I spent some time reading Taoist philosophy and still have several different translations of the Tao Te Ching,my favorite being The Tao of Poo by Benjamin Hoff.:D
Third was the gadsden don't tread on me flag which represent's my politics and I alway's thought it was cool since I've been a kid, and my last but not least is my RAT tat which represent's the knife part of my life which can have almost a religious significants at times, my next one will probably be RUGER spelled down the back of my forearm. All of my tat's so far are kept on my left arm(side of my heart) None are works of art by any means but I would'nt trade any of them.

I still want a tat, not so worried about a free knife.
The tat artist I went to was wanting an extraordinary fee and he wanted to change it, make it bigger. blah blah blah...
It didnt look like a rat logo when he was done with his "work up".
I told him to get screwed.
 
I wanted a tat pretty bad several years ago, but could never decide what to get.

One time, wasted, we stumbled into a tattoo parlor bound and determined to get the Bob's Big Boy logo tattooed on my arm. The one holding up a cheeseburger.

Why? I dont know. At that point I had not even eaten at one.

Woke up REALLY happy (ink free!), but have never really felt the urge to get one since.
 
I want one bad, but I keep blowing my tat money on knives, fishing gear and getting ready for archery season.

I'm still going to get mine. I've just had to really be frugal with the money lately. Things are lookin up though!
 
This thread got me inspired to give Jesse a kick in the butt and get him over here to finish this up.....He said he has to pick up some 5 and7 bar needles for the RAT banner and the shade work on the skull so it looks like we will finish it up on sunday afternoon....He was gonna do it with three bar needles but it is on the back of my right shoulder and blown up to size of my palm....I don't know if i want to sit through that with the smaller needles.....Drew

...sometimes I wonder about my brain's priorities.
