Whatever happened to?????

Last year there was a clip point model about 7 3/4" long. Moose gave one away. Whatever happened to that blade? I am still interested in owning one.
 
This one? If so, it's actually closer to 6 3/4".

I seemed to recall there was a blood groove or a more pronounced clip. However, that one may be it. What model is it ?
I thought it was bigger than an 11 or 14

Not sure. I did win this one from Moose in a sig contest he had. A Camillus made necker proto.
 
For some reason I like that Camillus version of the 13. Ironically, it is the only Camillus "anything" I like......a non production prototype.
 
Hey RWT, when I read your description I immediately thought of the Kabar 1117. It's clip point, 7 7/8", and has a fuller/blood groove. Maybe this is it?

Found it in a site and the price is reasonable. Now for scales..... Is anyone making scales for them?
 
No one that I know of. However it's a good little blade, I've got one right here. Picked it up the other day.
 
I got the kabar 1117 necker last year handy little blade I haven't seen any grips as yet but I cord wrapped mine and it works great!
 
apparently that foreward hole caused some issues :D
 
Hole. I sure hope not that would be waste of time if someone took that seriously. Regardless I will pick one up if I can find scales for them. May have to make my own.
