B&M stands for Brick and Mortar.
It means an actual retail store somewhere as opposed to an online dealer.
Sometimes can be used to differentiate between buying from a dealer online or buying from that same dealer at his B&M.

There is one in the mall that is located at the inner harbor in Baltimore. I can't remember the name of it, but I went there and looked around when I was there.

Chesapeake Knife and Tool is located in the Baltimore Inner Harbor shops. Not a bad place to shop. Their prices are not as good as online shopping, but you get to handle and see a lot of different knives. Cheseapeake also has an online web site if you want more info. Another good B&M shop is EdgeWorks in Frederick, MD

I wish there were more retail knife sellers in our area, but there are not. Knifecenter of the Internet is nearby in College Park, MD, but they do not have a physical storefront.

The absolute Best place to see knives in our area is at the annual Timonium custom knife show in December. It is mostly a custom show, but there are several dealers who sell production knives as well.

Nearby Alex. The show is at the Holiday Inn on Greenspring Ave near the intersection with Timonium Rd. Check for the ads in Blade magazine or go to Ted Merchant's web site at www.knifeshows.com

I'll look forward to seeing you there!
