A lot of factors come in to play...New in box, only touched with cotton gloves? Premium wood -vs- production wood ie: Box Elder Burl -vs- Bocote? Is the box and everything in perfect condition and matching the knife? These things were about $455 NEW in 2008 (Large Classic Inlay), so go from there. There is always that ONE guy who will pay twice retail for something no longer in production... if you are patient enough, and a little lucky. The last Large Classic MM Bloodwood inlay that I sold was damn near new and it went for $425 shipped. Then again, I'm not a dick to to other collectors, so I priced it reasonably. YMMV
Thanks XJ-linux, I appreciate the information. I found one for sale and wanted to make sure I wasn't overpaying for it. Since this model is no longer in production, I realize prices can be all over the place depending in rarity. This one doesn't sound that rare, just discontinued. Thanks again for your input.
