What's a Closed Thread/ Why is mine Closed??

I asked a one of the Moderators this and was never responded to. So I'll try here. What is a Closed Thread? Why does my only For Sale Thread say it's Closed? Is it closed to me because I started it, and can't BTT it for 72 hours? What does the envelope (with a Padlock, and an arrow "over it" mean?

I looked over all of his posts and did not see a locked thread. Perhaps another forum or forum name???

I checked after he posted and it was LOCKED/CLOSED, it's open now ?!

Just wanted to thank everyone for trying here. Maybe an hour or two ago I saw a Thread where a member was advising tanother o go to the Menu for Threads and open a closed thread. So I think did that successfully then. Before, it was closed I think, but maybe I did closed it (?) when I first started the Thread though I don't recall it.

My respect and thank you to Benyamin for trying to answer this last night..again must be on my end. It had a Padlock, etc. Anyway, I hope I did not miss any potential lookers due to my stupidity.
