Looking for something small and light maybe a two finger blade but has a bottle opener on it too. I always find myself using someone's lighter or a table end when an "offical" opener isn't around. Don't want it on my key chain as thoses big ass car remotes take up enough room in the pocket.

Becker BK-11
ESEE HEST, they're discontinued but The Knife Connection had some
Seems like I've seen one from CRKT that had a bottle opener.

Another option might be from Nemesis knives....http://nemesis-knives.com/tools.htm The Ti card and down the page is the other bottle opener. I got two of those, it's so small and light you won't know you have it on you.

The crkt you are thinking of is probably the Krein Dogfish.

Gerber "Shard" is a neat little piece that you can keep on your key ring. It'll run you about $6.

The ESEE and Becker offerings are too big.. I'm looking for something small.. something like this maybe.

It's not as cool but I think you're bettering off using a Victorinox or baby multi-tool. If it's for a night out in town, unless you are specially privileged, it's not a good idea to pull out a neck knife from under your shirt in any areas of Ohio that I know about. Unless you are using it sheathed, a small fixed blade with an actual edge seems kind of dangerous/dumb as well with a slippery bottle, more so if you've already knocked back a few.

im with ordnancebubbausmc. i recommend the leatherman skeletool. comes in standard with nothing-special-but-good-enough knife steel and the deluxe with 154cm. the end is a caribeaner bottlecap opener. ive carried one thru many parties and it only weighs ~5oz. fairly cheap too for the value you get. http://www.leatherman.com/product/Skeletool_CX

Dunno which one specifically you want but I like my BK11 (though I've changed the handle wrap about 50 times)...

I have one of those Benchmade rescue tools, with a strap cutter and bottle opener. Thing is, you have a razor blade right next to your fingers, if you have too many and slip, ouch!

I like my bottle opener as it's own tool, the bottle opener at the pommel does seem much safer, for drinking beer.

BESH Bottle Rocket. There's a bearing on it that's used to spin the thing. Whoever it points to pays for the beer. True story behind the bearing concept. I saw it at Blade while helping at Darrel Ralph's booth.

Maybe check out the Victorinox Rambler. I think you could slip it on the keychain without noticing much of a difference in bulk. Otherwise, others have already made some pretty good suggestions for neckers...

Good luck! :)

If you already carrying some knife (maybe EDC folder) and know how to open bottles with a lighter, then I'm sure you should be able to open beer with whatever you have on you. I have opened a number of bottles with my folding knives (though I don't trust my friends doing that with my knives). Why bother looking for dedicated opener on a necker unless you just want another knife on you?

IMHO every grown male should be able to pry open beer with a lighter, butter knife or anything like this :D It's not the tool, but a technique that counts.
