What's a fair price for this knife?

I have seen them sell for more than what you paid retail. That same knife was 300.00 at a shop in the mall, granted it was in a high prices mall, but that was only 15.00 more that the 285.00 that I saw for it in shop in Abilene.

Cerberus.

If it doesn't sell on eBay I recommend selling here on Blade Forums.

I've had much better response here than on eBay, you're already a Gold Member so it won't cost you more, the people on this forum are much more knowledgeable and appreciative of knives like the one you are selling.

Big Dave - I recently sold one on Ebay for $168. Mine was NIB, yours has been handled and used a tiny bit. However, yours has the old-style William Henry logo, so that might be worth more to someone, I don't really know.

One of your bidders, Snotgrass, is a William Henry bidding fool, so if he has competitors, you can bet he will win your auction.

Cougar,

I apologize if it seemed like I was advertising. However, that was not my intention. If I was advertising I would have posted a link to the auction.

The reality is that I have not kept up with the market prices of knives. I wanted to know if my reserve price was fair. After I read the first two responses I also emailed William Henry to find out what the original asking price was.

I posted a link to the pictures of Hawaii becasue I thought that people would enjoy those and one person did. Yes there are some pictures of a number of knives (autos) in another directory...but those are being advertised on Blade Forums Auto's section.

I'm a little surprised that it was taken that way. But, I hope this truthful explanation clears me of wrongfully advertising on your forum. May I have your permission of posting a link to my photos of Hawaii?

Take care,
Dave
