Im looking for a nice looking, medium sized, spyderco knife. my price range is up to 250$ what are some thoughts?

Don't own it, but I hear the Sage 2 titanium is a very good mid size knife, think you can get em for like $150-175 new. The Para Military I have owned, and while a little bigger than the Sage 2, it still rides very small, and is an awesome slicer, and looks great. Handle just didn't fit my hand quite right without the choil.

medium sized being 3-5" closed length

In no specific order i'd recomend the following:

Sage 2
Sage 1
Delica
Endura
Paramilitary
Manix 2
Caly 3
Centofante 3
Centofante 4
Gayle Bradley
Native
Pacific Salt
Salt
Spyderhawk Salt
Tasman Salt
Stretch

However I highly recommend the Sage 2. It's my favorite EDC folder.

Since I only have one Spyderco now, it would be the Endura 4 G-10. I don't have any desire to get another Spyderco right now. The comfort is beyond reproach IMHO and the fit & finish is most impressive.

my vote is for the sage II...although, spyderco is coming out some brand new offerings very soon:D

I'm recommend the Manix 2. That knife is solid as a rock, and fits the medium bill perfect....

For $250, buy a Sage 1 and a Sage 2, then do a scale swap and, voila! CF, Ti RiL Sage with CPM S30V blade.

I already mentioned Stretch CF

Let me elaborate a bit, other great midsize (I think you mean bigger than Sage or Caly, right?) Spydercos that I have are:

Centofante 3
Centofante 4
Chokwe
Gayle Bradley
Endura G10
Manix 2
Pacific & Atlantic Salt
And if you shop around you may still find a Volpe, a Kris or even a big Persian in your budget

The Endura G10 is excellent and sturdy, as was mentioned above
The Centofantes are splendid slicers but it seems to me that you want something more upmarket
The Chokwe is very interesting, a diabolical slicer with surprisingly good ergonomics. And I think pretty rare.
The Gayle Bradley is a workhorse in gentlemen dress. High performance but it will stain!
The Manix 2 is an undestructible workhorse
Pacifc and Atlantic Salts are very interesting but you want something more chic, it seems to me
From the out of production ones listed the big Persian is something quite special. It will eventually be reissued

All in all i think that the Stretch carbon fibre is the best "compromise" (strange word at this quality level): strong enough for most uses, very good and safe ergonomics, a relatively thin blade for good slicing (thinner than Endura for most of the blade, thicker than Centofante) yet still sturdy enough, a high end steel... and you can even eat with it without looking like a mall ninja. Really an unassuming knife that's a high performer and that will grow on you.
