What's a nice sized folder or a combination of two?

Hi folks, my first post so go easy as I'm just a newbie. :)

I'm trying to decide what knife I should carry. I've already decided that I want a fixed blade, preferably one I can carry around my neck.... somewhere between 4" and 6" MAX. Probably going for RKK Snitch and one of these Side Hawg's. Any other suggestions would be cool. :) Really why I made this thread though is to ask about folders. I'm tossing up whether I should get two folders.... a small handle around 2-3" and a 5" or just get one 4". I'll eventually get one of everything hehe but for now I was thinking of a 4" thin handled folder.

I'm sure it has been discussed before but I can't get the search working properly. I'll take any recommendations for knives and good threads to read.

Thanks. :)

IMHO blade size in folder doesn't play most important role (except overall size for comfort of EDC).
That said there are not much 5" (and bigger) folders anyway.

You should specifiy: price range, lock preference (if any), materials preference (if any)

(as for fixed necker - check out Bark River knives, they do very nice knives, e.g.

A 3' blade or so is a comfortable EDC. My favorites are Spyderco's Native from Wal-Mart (knife #60) and other spyderco's.
My favorite FB's are from Camillus-Arclite, Newt Livesay-(Availability issues), and Darrell Parent (mt. Sequoyah Knives) There are literally hundreds of suitable knives out there, start with something inexpensive untill you find out what you like.
