<font color=#bf0000>I recently bought a cheapie balisong from a flea-market to play with, and have become more interested in it each day. Unfortunately, it's already starting to fall apart (if you can even say it was in good condition to begin with). I know almost nothing about the different brands available. Basically, my question is, what is a nice Balisong that will stand up well to fairly heavy use, but won't break the bank? What are you guys' favorites in the sub $50 category?

TIA,

Mac

Q: What's a quality, inexpensive, Balisong?

A: An oxymoron, that's what.

As Clay says, get a Dragon Forge, play with it until the pins break, and then replace the pins.

Sac02,

I recently bought the DF-201 and love it. I am also very new to real Balisongs so i wanted a cheap one, and frankly I couldnt afford a Benchmade. I will get one of those sometime but i am happy with my Jag for now.

THe vote is usually separated into BEAR and JAGUAR balisongs.. I reveiewed them both in my site. each has their own faults. My vote is for the skeletonized Jags.
