What's a Wegner Junior worth?

I'm looking to finance another purchase and am thinking of selling off some of the knives I don't carry. I have looked for prices on the Wegner Junior, and they're sold out everywhere I've looked. Don't remember exactly what I paid a couple of years ago.

The knife is plain edge and basically new in the box. What's it worth? Any links to dealers who still have some?
 
I have seen used Wegner Jr.'s going for about $50 - $55 on the forums. You can see if you run a wegner jr. search in the closed "for sale" forum.

I appreciate the tip. There weren't any Wegner Jrs. listed in the new For Sale forum, and when I saw "closed" on the old one, I figured that meant "shut down" (ie. unsearchable). eBay doesn't have any listed in the current or completed auctions.
You're right about the used Jrs. This one I consider NIB though (or maybe "mint" is a better term). I found prices on new ones too, and now I have a better idea of what it might bring.

In response to my original post though, I was hoping that someone had a link for a dealer who still carries them. Amongst the range of three prices (suggested retail, dealer price, individual price), I'm sort of curious what a dealer would charge. Have they gone up any since they were discontinued?

Prohibition was never very sucessful either.

I have always found searching the closed "for sale" forum to be a great way to evaluate prices for second hand knives.
 
Hey, I'm no Al Capone. I asked an honest question, and Architect gave me an honest answer. People ask about value over on the gun boards all the time, and I didn't even think twice about posting such a question here.
 
I picked mine up from my manager at work for 50, checked out the dealer price up here that same weekend...
$131 for un-numbered, I got a #161 in my deal.

depending on where you try to sell, could make up to $150.
 
I sell them for $99.95 in the store.

Tim Wegner used to advertize them for $79.95, shipped, which was way below MAAP, when Spyderco was (sort of) enforcing that policy.

MSRP was $131.00. They were discontinued in 1999.
