What's are the major differences between Vindicator and Commander?

I was looking at both of these models for my next Emerson, They look relatively similar to one another. Am I missing something?

Completely different grip shape, and different, albeit to a lesser degree than the grip, blade shape/design as well. Similarities would be wave feature, V-primary grind + chisel-secondary bevel, both have recurve blade shapes, plus normal production Emerson attributes (G10 scales, 154cm blade, Ti lock-side liner, ss non-lock liner, same pocketclip, nytralon pivot washers).
