Whats Coming out for the Rescue ?

Hear there may be some new rescue ? either differant colour scales or blades ? whats the rumours ?

I own 2 rescue's and love them both, they are my most used knives.

There's a new Spyders thread around here somewhere posted by Joyce. Check it out, the new rescue has blue handles and 30/70 or so serrated blade.

What's with the odd shape at the top of the blade?
Is it to reduce weight?

It is according to a prior thread, to provide finger purchase for greater cutting control of the tip for "finer" chores (notice tip now is "plain edge"). We'll see how it works out.

Is the blue darker than the current Delica/Ladybug medium blue?

I also like the idea of the 30/70 edge.

I have the large Orange Rescue and this one would be the perfect mate!

With any luck they would procreate all sorts of different Spydies...
