Diamonds tend to be my go to, especially for more wear resistant metals like your sebbie which I assume is s30v. I'm not familiar with lionsteel but I assume it's a bit more on the wear resistant side as well.
I have a Sharpmaker with the diamond rods and ultra fines and truth be told id rather recommend someone the lansky turn box in diamond rods over it, especially with wear resistant metals. The difference between 400 grit vs 600 isn't much when you take into consideration the 600 grit on the lansky is pretty much equivalent to using the corners on the Sharpmaker continuously and you turn it slightly and you have fresh abbrasive. The abbravives that come with it will produce a nice toothy edge after the medium ceramic which if I remember correctly is lightly coaser than the Spyderco brown (same story with the fines, but you find that in a different turn box). The biggest thing is you have to get a protractor and drill some new holes in it at 15dps to match the Sharpmaker if you want or any angle you want really as it lends you that versitility. At $20 vs around $100 for Sharpmaker and diamond rods it's a big price difference too.
Than there are various guided setup, DMT aligners, lansky (clamp), kme, edge pro, wicked edge, etc.they all have their pros and cons though most work quite good in setting your initial bevel and from there touch ups are usually a bit of a pain with setup time. So you may end up with a Sharpmaker (or turn box) like most people for quick touch ups anyway. Or use a worksharp field Sharpener for touch ups like I do when I don't use a DMT credit card.
Just don't expect quick results from any of these unless your blade is reprofiled to that angle or more acute at which point your putting a microbevel on it unless you plan on doing some serious metal removal.
And for the record I'm not saying go get the turn box, just felt like being the voice of reason as I own the Sharpmaker and it's over hyped if your only goal is sharp. If you want to play with the various Sharpmaker stones than it's worth it in my opinion. And if you ever get into recurves a crock sticks system like these are great for sharpening them as even think stones from my DMT aligner doesn't work well with recurves from my experience.
