How about some fresh new info.
Please.
thank you.
I really your vorpal knives,
any new news?

I have been playing catch up since I came back from Mexico. I have a few orders that are overdue that will ship this week. I just got the new Brend hatchets back from heat treat. The regular and deluxe version. They need to be ground and coated and they will be good to go. Slowly but surely, everything is coming back together.
The folders are slowly hitting the streets also.

Bobby

Thanks for the update,
it was getting too quiet around here.
BTW, I really like those Brend collaboration framelocks on your site,
are those the folders you are refering or are there others that you are refering to?
If so, let's see some pictures.
thanks!!!

Here we go. The hatchets are not finished yet, but you can see the size difference. Notice the leading edge on the large one. It throws even better than the original

Very nice. What kind of steel ? I have one of the Brends from when they were made by ATC and I must say that looking at the pics yours seem much nicer. The handles look like it would be much more comfortable then the one that I have now and I like the larger size. Also there does not seem to be as many holes in the handle which I would assume would make it a much stronger hawk. Are theres going to put up for sale sometime in the future and if so what are we looking at in terms of price, if I may ask. Thanks Mark

I chose 1050 because I know it is a tough steel if heat treated properly. I can't remember if I removed a hole, but I did make them smaller to make it stronger. This version will have a lot more hand work that will be reflected in the price. I can not give a price until all the cost are totaled.
