Not urgent, but would appreciate update.

Any idea of cytoscopy results?

Was he able to fly back to Kansas today?

And a whole lot of other questions that really don't matter as long as we hear he's still fighting.

Yangdu, your situatuion is not forgotten either.

Yangdu was nice enough to send me an email that said the same as above.

Bill may be down and hurting, but I have to say he is a tough old bird!!!!
Them damned cytoscopys HURT!!!! Or at least mine did. I flopped like a fish out of water when I was coming out of the anesthetic several years ago when I had mine done. Nothing I ever want to go through again.

I can vouch for Yangdu being one nice lady. She's to Bill like my Barbie is to me and neither of us probably deserved them when we first got them.:D
Maybe still don't, but I know Bill feels towards Yangdu the same way I feel towards my Barbie!!!!:D

I know what you mean Yvsa. I got married pretty young(23) and all my buddies told me "not to do it, you'll regret it"! I grew up with my wife. I knew her in grade school all the way till we got together in highschool. We dated for 5 years till I asked her to marry me. We have been married almost 3 years now and I would be lost without her. I was smart enough to realize I had a great girl and a keeper and now my friends also see this and agree I did the right thing! She takes good care of me and I probibly don't deserve her. I do my best to make her happy and vice versa!
You are lucky to have Barb and Bill is lucky to have Yangdu. You know what they say, behind a good man is an even better women!

Mary and I were in our early thirties when we married 22 years ago. Within a month it just seemed more natural to be married than single. No major adjustments to speak of.

Bill's let slip Yangdu is "a bit" of a worrier, so let's try not to give her anything to worry about in addition to what is happening to Bill.

I can add that Yangdu is just plain good people, period!

Thank you for posting Yangdu. My prayers are for both of you. Good to hear some positive results. Hope Bill has a good trip and may your time be blessed too.

To recap to date:

Friday: he went in for a cytoscopy. Yangdu reports results good.

Saturday: he flew back to Kansas.

Sunday: day to recover from travel.

Monday ( today ): time to get hooked up with medical services back in Toto land. Unless his brother has already set up appointments for this week in advance, that is. My guess is he probably called his brother Friday after the cytoscopy. Too late midwest time to get any appointments set up.

So my guess is he won't be able to get much done this week other than having the Reno doctors forward his charts to the Kansas doctors, and hopefully making appointments with his Kansas doctors for next week.

I know this sounds pessimistic, and hope he can get results faster than that. I just don't want anyone expecting to hear much before nest week.

If Yangdu has any information or corrections to add, I'm sure she will. And sometime this week Uncle may get to a computer himself and say a few words.

Until next week, all we can do is sit on our thumbs and hope and pray. And send smoke. I'm sure Yangdu had no idea what all the insense she gave me would be used for - but I still have most of two packages anyway. They sure get a lot into a little package. Thanks again, Yangdu. Prayers going up for you too!!
