Well, now we have it from the horse’s mouth. Dave has been to the Star Wars Cantina, and he says that the entities there aren’t quite as unusual as the ones in this forum.

Now, I think we are all Homo Sapiens, but we may represent a larger than usual number of DNA replication errors.

We all like good food and drink. Witness the cornbread/Malaysian curry/Heinekin threads.

Himalayan Imports Forum seems like a prosaic name. How about:

Should we throw in something about big knives too?

Howard,
Big curvy knives are good to have at Uncle Bill's Mutant Bar & Grill.

Howard, I'm all for the name change -- it certainly makes more of a statement about the motley crew who frequents the forum.

I almost choked on lunch reading your post. Ever get a piece of grapefruit up your nose!

This may be a surprise but when Yangdu and I were back in Nepal in 1991 we very seriously entertained opening a bar and grill in Thamel. It got down to the point that we were painting and decorating -- that close!

The name: Bill's American Bar and Grill

Here it is Uncle Bill's Mutant Bar and Grill.

I think I like that better.

Since your customers are also friends, at least have Transylvanian Hangover Soup / aka Drunkard's Soup ( Korhely leves ) on the menu.

I would not say this about my friend Jim,but T.R. would:Just plain yellow!Take the pain.
