If you have yourself a table at Blade, and have been listed by a name other than that for which you are known, please use this thread to clarify things and to help direct people to where you are at:).

I have a table, but I am going incognito. I don't want anyone to know what I have.

Or was that the guy next to me?

I had a little misunderstanding with someone and they used my business name, Royer Knifeworks, at table 22-R.

I am listed as Royer Knifeworks at table 22-R

Next year I'll try to have just my name in the listing, Kyle Royer.

I have been listed under my first name, David Broadwell. Don't know if they will get that correctly listed under B for my last name before the show. My table is 27-P.

Some good news David, I see you were mentioned along with a photo in a Blade Show promotional e-mail today:

"David Broadwell--Table 27-P and Brian Hochstraf-Table ES-1
The Galactic Warriors knife is a collaboration between knifemaker David Broadwell and engraver Brian Hochstraf. The knife is a folder using Broadwell's DB Lock in his Techno-Art style. It blends some technical/industrial elements with organic lines. Brian engraved and inlaid the two female cybernetic warriors using gold, copper and argentium silver. I'm also listed under my first name, Tom Maringer, in the "T" section. Table 23-L

They had me listed with just my business name when I usually am listed by my name.
This year they have me down as Mace Vitale-Laurel Rock Forge
and I'll be at table 11-R.
See ya at the show!
Mace

Kevin,

I got an email a week or so ago asking for pictures for them to use in promotional mailings. That's one I sent in, and should be at the show. It almost makes up for them goofing up my listing!

Don't think I'm unappreciative of these people putting on the show. I very much appreciate it and am looking forward to it. However, by making these sorts of screw ups they could cost all of us sales. Last year I shared a table that was under his name. I told people on the forums and on my email update list where I was sitting. For some it didn't matter. My name wasn't on the list so they thought I wasn't there. This year when I have my own paid table I'm concerned that a similar thing will happen because of an improper listing. I've been doing knife shows since 1982 and pen shows since 2001, and none have fouled up a name listing in this manner.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the show. I believe my table is at the back of the room near the loading dock or the bathrooms!

David
