I just saw a post on TGB&U that reminded me of the difficulties some of the HI guys have had trying to decide how to label a khukuri to avoid confusing customs officials:

I once sent a knife to a missionary in South America that I used to cut a slice from an apple with. On the box (at his suggestion) it was marked as "Used fruit slicer." Really. ;) :D geegee

How are you fixed for apples, Bill? Or any kind of fruit would do ... just be sure to clean and oil the khukuri before shipping; fruit acids can patinate a blade with a single slice.
