In stores around here the main slipjoints for sale are Buck and Schrade. What are the main brands in your town/city?
For SAKs it's V-nox.
I think it is interesting to see how different areas carry different knives. I always check out the knives when I go to other places.
 
In Mexico city you have to look very hard and know the right places to find anything other than Victorinox or cheap crappy knives. If you are lucky you can find the occasional Buck, Schrade, Boker, Puma, Opinel, Aitor, Muela, etc.
 
Here in Kalifornia's ag center (#1 Dairy county in the US, possibly also the #1 for total value of ag production) I can find Buck, Schrade, and Case slipjoints. For SAKs, it is almost always Victorinox, I think only KMart sometimes carries Wenger.
 
About the same here, Buck,Schrade,Victorinox, the local B&M has Case and one little craft store carries Eye Brand and Henckel slippies.

almost anything, case, schrade, queen, bulldog, puma, frost, buck, gerber, bear mgc, kershaw, explorer, boker, wenger, victorinox, fox, etc. etc. etc.
 
Here in N.C. there are many small stores that are holding little treasures.

One is a hardware store (family owned) that also is a case dealer. I haven't been there in a while but they may just have some of those new Case Bros. Stag knives in stock.

There's another little hardware store that carries a small selection of Queen Steel. I bought a synthetic handle stockman that I carry almost daily.

My favorite is an old grocery store. The man that runs it was a baby when his father built it, He's 65 now. He too is a Case dealer. He has a wooden display case 6' by 4' filled to the hilt with old knives! Some are for sale some aren't. He even has Case kitchen knives for sale. I think they stopped making those in the 80'S. Here's what I've picked up from him so far in the last year...

I'm fortunate to live in an area with a couple full time cutlery stores and pretty much everything is available. You name it.
