thanks Dick .i have a half size tobbaco tin that holds some survival kit ,looking at your picture the pouch doesn't look big enough. is the pouch elasticated/expandable?my kit fits in my Becker Bowie sheath pouch .as i am waiting for a B.R. i was hoping it is similar so i can swap the kit over.

When I had my BR I kept a Leatherman Wave in there but since I sold the BR I moved the Wave into the pouch on my SH-E. Both are users.

Disco,

The pouch is expandable and is larger than it appears in that photo. If you look at the edge of that pic you can see that the material is folded under, that is not the seam. Others who have small survival tins (not certain what tin size, I believe similar to altoids tins) have said that they do fit, but are snug.

The pouches are actually quite large for what they appear.

Hope that helps,

The sheath for My BR & BK9 are virtually the same. An altoids tin does fit but its tight.
I originally put a larger zip pouch on the sheath based on a system Id plagiarised from Mike Spinak in one of his Survival Articles (very informative!) but I realized I was carrying too large a kit on the sheath as well as a seperate PSK in a tobbaco tin.
Not finalised the kit for my BR yet, but I'll put it on 'ere when i do. Putting the same kit in my BK7 & BK9 too!

Thanks StuToffee if the pouches are the same then my tin will fit no problem. How long ago did you get your B.R.? I have reserved mine through Dirk in germany, did you get yours via this route or direct from USA. I ask as i am from Scotland and you are the first British rat owner i have encountered here (to my knowledge) so far.I take it you had no problems getting it delivered etc.:)

My battle rat took about 2 1/2 months to arrive from the US! Got here no problem, didnt get charged any tax on it by customs! (just got 3 Spec-ops wallets this morning totalling $100 inc. postage & the customs twats charged me 20 quid!!)
The BR arrived well boxed up from the states with about $30 worth of stamps on it. The only thing that couldve been a problem was the dopey postman, as I wasnt in when it was delivered he left it in the big green "wheelie bins" we have here for recycling garden waste etc & posted a card thru my letterbox. IF theyd been emptied that day, My knife wouldve gone!!!

Bloody Royal Mail!!
