Picked up a pair the other day. So far, I kinda like 'em for "dressy" occasions.

Still getting used to "what goes where".

EVERY work day, I carry a Strider AR, SureFire E2e-HA, Palm m500 (in Vaja 741 case), etc.

Be forewarned, the zippers on the hidden pockets are wimpy. I've had 3 break on 2 pairs of pants.

Long story short, they SHOULD be replaced in the next 4-6 weeks. After I freaked at their offer for me to send them both pairs to evaluate if they were defective, they sent me one pair in a box with return shipping. I sent them this week. I guess I'll be getting another replacement pair in the next 4-6 weeks. That's their estimate.

I am NOT happy!

These came from Foley's.

That's where they'll be going back to, if I have any problems with them.

Michael, what are the folder and fixed blade you have there? They look real nice.

The folder is a Jeff Chaffee sheepsfoot in ATS-34. I'm told it's fossilized walrus ivory scales.

The fixed blade is from Kathleen Tomey. Again ATS-34, spearpoint with a nice swedge and stabilized amoynia (sp) burle. It's basically a S.U.C. (sport / utility / camping) model that I asked to be tweaked a little in blade length and handle profile.

My load is usually the same day to day @ work. In the hidden side pocket I keep my Sony Clie NR70V (which fits perfectly!). In my front right pocket-chapstick, Fisher space pen (with stylus), and cleaning cloth. Also my Knife du-jour (sp?). Hidden right pocket-Keltec P32 with extra mag (in Uncle Mikes pocket holster). Left front pocket-mints and business card holder. Left hidden pocket-digital voice recorder. Rear pocket-Wallet. On my belt I carry a multi-tool of some kind (it varies with my mood), a Surefire E1 or E2, and a V60 cell phone. I guess that's about it! Thanks for asking!:D

What do you think of that P32?

Assuming the new sheriff keeps the same concealed-handgun policy, I was thinking about getting something "pocket sized".

Unfortunately, from what I can tell these pants only come in even waist sizes. I'm usually a 31, so my wife bought me a pair of 32s as a birthday present. Way too big, they look like clown pants on me. I'm going to try a 30 and hope they run just a little large.

If anyone finds a place that sells them in odd waist sizes, I'd appreciate a heads-up. thanks!

In the meantime, I've found an article of clothing that easily out-geeks you guys. I'm not even just a geek anymore ... I'm KING OF THE GEEKS! Check it out, I love it: www.scottevest.com

Maybe I"ll post a separate note on it.

I normally wear a 31 as well, but you're right -- tough to find! The 30's are just fine for me.

I also noticed that while 31x33 is perfect in a Levi's 550, I can go with the MUCH more common 30x32 in the Levi's 560.

If you don't mind me jumping in, I'd like to give my vote for the P32. I just got one Saturday and shot it for the first time on Sunday. It's a great little gun. I shot two mags, my buddy shot one. I had 100% perfect functioning, he had one failure to extract. We were shooting at a steel plate 25yds away with cheap ball ammo. It was dead on at that distance. Once I get familiar with it, I can see near 100% hits at that distance. It's already my EDC.

BTW, I have a Tomey as well, her DayHiker. Thuya burl, mosaic pins, and O1 for mine.

Yeah...that's what I was going to say. But seriously, I love my P32! I recently purchased a Springfield XD40, and it had a problem and needed to go back for surgery (I should have it back tomorrow!) anyway, with it gone I began to feel ancy and rather vulnerable. I bought my P32 ($199) as a stand in. It is so easy to carry, I will probably continue to use it as a BUG when my XD comes home. It is not something I would bank my life on (c'mon it's a .32), but if the **** goes down, it's better than harsh words!

I bought some as soon as they came out a year ago ... is it just me or are the zippers hard as hell to open/close. Seems like I need two hands to work them which is no good for easy access.

I have the same problem with the zippers.

I have a P32, but I don't carry or trust it anymore. The end of the mainspring broke off one day while the gun was in a pocket holster in my pocket!!! If I had needed it, I would have been SOL. Since then I stick with my Ber 20 or my SW 642.
