Just like the title says, I want to know what's in your PSK.

Post pictures!

Be sure to describe each item to some degree.

Especially if you have uncommon items in it!

Also, have any of you considered the idea of a PSK for use in urban society? Let's hear about your experiences with that!

Off topic: When do you guys think BRKT will do another run of PSKs in 154CM?

It stands for Personal Survival Kit. They are usually kept in containers that are about the size of an Altoid tin. If you ever look into getting one, make sure to look at an OtterBox 1000 or 2000.

Ok, I'm mildly curious, what exactly could you fit in an altoid tin that would do all that much to ensure your survival?

I mean, really, I'm thinking rolaids, matches, and a few funny cigerettes...:D

and see that wouldn't even work, cuz there wouldn't be room for the munchies....

It's meant to be only a portion of your main survival kit. It would hold things like your compass, a survival whistle, etc.

fire steel, cottonwool and petrolium jelly, signal mirror and whisle. Some band aids, medical tape, gaffer tape, space blanket.

Sometime in the next six months I'd say. Production schedule shows that the steel has been ordered which means it needs to be cut, heat treated, assembled and shipped.

My full Altoids tin PSK has a Vic SAK - Tinker, I believe. Opposite it is a Fenix EO1 LED AAA flashlight. Between is a vial with fire starting petroleum dipped cotton balls inside, fishing line around it. Also inside, a ferrocerium rod, needle, packet of hooks, several aspirins and Benadryls in foil, a couple of alcohol swipes, and bandaids. I polished the insides to act as a signal mirror. Now I need a compass and whistle? Good grief!

Maybe I need a real 'bug out bag'... with a revolver and ammo, satelite phone (Can you get the 'Bear Grylls Commemorative pre-paid Sat Phone at WallyWorld yet?), smoke grenades, gold for barter, dried food, KaBar, axe, etc.
