In the last couple of years, I have been in and out of the DIY and hardware shops umpteen times. Each time, I walked out with at least one or two handyman tools which I thought would come in useful sometime in the future.

Consequently, I have a wide range of tools. Believe it or not, I do actually use them now and then. My wife is grudgingly admitting that I have made the right decisions by buying all those "useless" stuff.

So I not only have one big cupboardful of handyman tools but probably a few toolboxes of tools.

That's another hobby of mine - Toolman Golok!

:D :D

My favorite tool (it has it's own carry-case box) is my Craftsman Professional reciprocating saw. Oh yes, if you can only have one tool, make it a "sawzall." :D

Too many hand and power tools to list, but a Sawzall is my favorite, too.
Bought a Milwaukee orbital Super Sawzall awhile back. It's pruned trees, cut off a "bolt-cutter proof" lock, cut 3" steel pipe, 1" copper line, been used as a miniature chainsaw on downed branches and small logs, cut up some old furniture, subwoofer boxes, landscaping timbers, 2x4s, PVC pipe, sheet metal.
I must have 8 or 9 different kinds of blades for it, in lengths from 6-12". Most useful power tool I've ever owned, and money well spent.

Thinking about getting one of Milwaukee's 18V "Hatchet" sawzalls, next, since getting out the extension cords and stuff usually takes as long as doing the actual cutting, and it would be great for keeping in my truck (where the corded one stays now, with two extension cords).
Maybe I'll get to save the day, and cut someone out of a wrecked car or something. I like the sound of that, and will be looking for an opportunity.
I can already see it now. Some poor woman telling the cops, "I don't know, officer. I just pulled over to use my cell phone, and this guy pulls up, jumps out of his truck, and cuts my door off, yelling, 'get out quick lady, I think it's going to blow!'".
I'll be a hero:eek:

I began picking up tools as a teenager for both auto and home repair.I don't think you ever end up with all the tools you need:( The last few years I've picked up allot of tinker tools like calipers, jewlers tools, dremels, and small files.I guess I've become more of a micro-handyman lately:D

Same here:D Golok, a couple of house toolbox's, 1 travel toolbox mostly hand tool's and a nifty Sear's Craftman compact elecric drill that I've been looking for all my life!! one communication/electrical toolbag {special gear} Then all my Batt.Powered Tool's. the car sag's when I load her up:eek:

Hey, I've got a full metalworking machine shop down my basement. When I moved 2 years ago, it cost me MORE to move my shop than the rest of the house! If we start with the largest - it's the Burke Millright vertical mill

Tools? a Gerstner, and 3 Kennedy boxes of precision tools, and 3 boxes of wrenches, sockets, etc
