Just curious to know if any of you keep a knife in your car - whether glove box (albeit state laws) or trunk. Be it in your 'car BoB' or just a part of your tool kit... please post a pic.

Thanks!

I keep one of these little guys in the cup holder of my truck.

Also have a Cold Steel AK-47 in the arm rest/console. I've never used it for anything but I figured it would be a good truck knife in case I had to splice a radiator hose or cut some rope or straps.

Either way, if I leave the house and forget to grab a knife I will still have one in the truck to pocket for the rest of the day.

I've been thinking about getting one of those S&W rescue tools with the glass-punch to keep in case of emergency, plus a hatchet in the back since I often find myself in a rural area or out int he wilderness.

Otherwise, no I don't carry anything in my car specifically other than my EDC.

I can live out of my Chevy for a few days, and have done that before lol. Its become a rolling bail out bag and tool store over the years. I've got a most of my knives in there in different places, a couple liters of water, cheater bar pipe (thats been used as a funnel to fill my B.I.L.'s chevelle with gas among other things), two first aid kits, off road recovery gear, few pieces of wood, small day work tool box that has been developed over the years specifically for fixing the truck and work. Also have a reground fiskars hatchet, my RC3 and izula, flashlight or two, an ac/dc converter, and currently my sawzall, drill, and 1x30 belt and disc sander. And I'm leaving out the majority of stuff. The general joke around here is what don't I have in the back of it! :D Heck being an Eagle Scout I may have taken the "Be Prepared" a bit heavily, but its saved a bunch of hassle and helped a lot of people. :)

All these guys are in there, a100 is usually in my pocket:

I keep an HI khuk in the pocket behind the passenger seat, and a Vic Locksmith in the center console of the vehicle.

I keep a machete in my trunk as well as a folding shovel, especially in winter. I also keep at least 1 MRE and a blanket in there along with basic tools (adjustable wrench, vise grips, screw drivers, etc.).

Car: Spyderco G-10 Rookie (folder) clipped to my sun visor, Benchmade Rant (fixed blade) in the trunk.

Truck: Cold Steel medium Voyager (folder) clipped to the sun visor, Buck 119 (fixed blade) in the passenger side door pocket.

I keep a folding shovel, surplus wool blanket, Fix-A-Flat, SAK, Gerber multitool, crescent wrench, Trangia stove, gasline de-icer (stove fuel), TP, matches, lighter, flares, etc.

So, you could say I have a lot of junk in the trunk.

No pics.

But both my LM wave and Sak rescue are in the "arm rest box".

The other tools are in the trunk and there is some sort of stanley knife in it.

flashlight, gloves and a buck nighthawk in the car at all times......other stuff is usually on me....rc 3, izula, leatherman....

I have a Mora scout knife, a Victorinox Tinker, a Gerber LMF, and a Collins Legitimus machete...plus of couple of no-name folders.
