Whats included in he box?

Planning to buy my first CRK, a large Inkosi. I read that the Sebenza box has some great extra item. What about Large Inkosi?
Im really curious about leather pouch. Should I buy it too or its included?

(If not included, do you have also any tip for different pouch?)

The leather pocket sheath is included on wood inlay models, graphic models, Carbon Fiber, Mnandi. The plan models normally do not have a pocket sheath.
What is normally included, Birth Card, Registration Card, Cleaning Cloth, Sticker, tools, grease, locktite on models that need it.

I have three pocket sheaths but normally don't use them. I normally use the clip. Its just nice to protect the knife if down in the bottom of a pocket with things that might scratch it up and I would use it if not using the clip or if I removed the clip.

I would try it clipped before spending the money on a pocket slip, I only use the slip if I have to deep pocket carry for dress events. The clip on CRK knives is one of the best you will ever use:thumbup:

I would imagine the tools (allen keys) and a tube of crk grease as standard in the box. My plane jane sebenza 21 and Umnumzaan both came with the tools and grease apart from the other standard items.

My sebenza 21 does ride in the leather pouch in my pockets. It saves from scratches as well as fells smoother in the pocket. After a while, the pouch will form itselft on the outlines of the folder.

I think CRK said they are unable to supply the tools for Blade. I bet if you told them you bought it there they would send the tools and grease out to you.

Interestingly enough, I bought a Large Inkosi from an authorized dealer the other day (they only got two first-runs to sell) and they said CRK did not ship the knife with any tools. The dealer had spare sets of CRK tools so they threw some in. The Large Inkosi also shipped in an old school CRK box (sans foam insert) - not the new packaging.

I wonder why they're sending these out like this.

I have 5 CRKs and Reeve calfskin slips for all. Two came with, and the other three I purchased as soon as I got each knife. My Mnandi is always carried in its slip in the bottom of my pocket, though I have not and will not remove the clip. The others are usually carried clipped to my RF pocket, though I occasionally carry my StarTac in its slip. All my CRKs live in their sleeves as I like to have each individually protected in storage. I would not have a CRK without its own CRK slip.

So what was the great extra item you thought came with Sebenza? The leather pouch? If so at least now you know its not included with all Sebenzas. It is available for about $25 for the ones that don't come with them.

I really like the leather pocket sheath, and I did buy one for my small Inkosi.

I carry my small snakewood-inlay in the pocket slip. It just feels more secure, and protected of course, that way.
