I want a smaller lighter Khukuri, for "all around" use...
I was thinking of either a BAS or WWII. What are the big differences?

I believe that the WWII is just a bit longer. I have a villager BAS, it's nice, except for a small handle. I plan to fix that eventually. Most people who have both seem to like the WWII more, it has some really die-hard fans among the khuk nuts. I will say that the Sirupati is very nice for a lightweight khuk, I picked up a 12" model and it's very sturdy, more so than nearly any other knife it's size. Remember that the words small and lightweight, when applied to HI khuks, are only relative terms. The little ones are still bigger and tougher than just about anything else out there.

It looks like a 15" Sirupati will be joining my 18" AK...:D

Bobby, you can't go wrong with a 15" Sirupati. I have one by Bura that I'm refinishing the handles on. I'll post pictures when I'm done. It has some of the most beautiful wood. The karda and chakma have a different wood. It's darker and I think it's rosewood. Horn makes a nice knife too. I prefer it for a user.
