I mean, what kind of addictive drug do you guys (Jeff and Mike) put on the handles of these knives? I mean, I'm a Beckerhead, and I was looking for a "tweener" knife, so I bought and ESEE 3. Now I have three ESEE knives. I remember holding my ESEE 3 thinking, man this a great knife .. . . . 2 days later I woke up holding an ESEE 4, AH1, and an Izula. Felt hungover, checked my bank account, and yep, sure enough, I bought them. Knife buying bender. Still a Beckerhead, but I sure do like ESEE knives. Thanks (I think) for making good, quality products. Moose

Well, why do you think we like Colombia so much? Just don't go snorting the handles! :D

Here's a funny story: we went to Colombia and did the cocaine lab destruction thing with the Junglas. Well, while we were there I helped the Junglas cut open bags of coca paste with my folder so we could get it all in one place to blow everything up. I cleaned the knife up and put it back in my pocket. Got home and about a week later I was sitting at a restuarant with some friends drinking beer and eating. I pulled out my knife to cut something and a small white chunk fell out on the table. It had gotten hung up under the lock. It was coca paste :D

Awkward moment there. "So, how was Columbia? Bring anything back?" "NO, absolutely not! Who said I did? They're lying! No one saw me!! " (Gets up and runs out) :D Funny stuff. Moose

I dunno, but I have now officially spent more money on HI blades than ESEE. Whatever ESEE is using HI has perfected even more... maybe it's just more potent in the high altitude of the Himalayas or something...

:D:DFunny:D:D, I think we're in the same boat... I have room for one more then I'm done.. Actually I'm getting rid of my Ganjawal to make room, interested?

I donno man, seems like it can't be on the handle, pretty of folks get addicted due to Izula exposure. :p

I removed my Micarta scales and just tried to boil them and see if any residue appears, now both scales are screwed up with no candy present.

Damn!

Now I need to purchase new scales.

Thanks guys. :D

Maybe it's in the "Powder" coating?...

I am of course not serious. :)

Friendly Neighborhood Crime Fighter: Mind if I take a look in your car Mr. Randall? No? Okay, how about we just let the dog take a sniff around the perimeter?

Stay safe Jeff!

"That's not mine it must have gotten stuck in there when i was at this drug lord's place in Columbia...wait that didn't help did it?"

What did you think the "powder coating" was? Stabilized cocaine solution. Seriously. Leave the knife in a 5% acetone/saline mix for a couple hours, use an evaporator to render the resultant slurry, and you should be left with a usable powder.

Try it at home, kids!
