Hey Guys....

Sorry the other thread wouldn't allow me to post...

I've always thought,,
Whats the point of having a tool on your keychain, that you can't fully use;always attached to the keys..What if you want to clean your fingernails while waiting for a train to go by..
What a pain in the Arse...

Heres my answer....
Please forgive the lousy picture..The entire roll was like that...

In addition to the "normal" items, a Swiss-Tech Util-key. It has come in handy on more than one occasion.

Normark,

I quite agree with you regarding the impractical handle of the common keyrings and I understand that you want to bring into prominence your great (!) sheath workmanship but I think the Troika Patent Keyring is a better solution.
With the slide switch (A) you can remove the attached object and furthermore the attached object (B) is 360 degree turnable, which is very practical in the handling.

I have the following on my keychain:

- Ultralite titanium keys
- Schrade folder
- Swisstech tool
- Photo microlight
- Taser glowring
- Remote alarm

Eric,

I've had various things on my keyring over the years: Leatherman Micra, tiny Victorionox, Swisstool, AAA Maglite etc. Lately I've gotten sick of the extra weight and cumbersome stuff so I've removed most of it.

I think your microsheaths are fantastic! You do really nice work as is obvious from the neatly trimmed edges of each piece. You are right that the removability makes a big difference in whether it is worth it to carry all that stuff.

Batangueno: Where do you get Ultralight titanium keys? I want!

Hey Peter..

Thanks alot,,I really appreciate the comments..:)

I try and take a minimalist approach to most of my work where less is more...
It works out pretty good..:)

Thanks

Eric...

Peter, the titanium keys i got from a shop in a mall here in the Philippines. The brand name is "Ultralite", comes in different colors and they're made in Italy.

Email me if you really want those keys. :)

Too cool Eric!

lately I've been carrying a leatherman wave handle, the one with the phillips, slotted, and bottle/can opener, put the clip point blade and the saw in the locking positions and the diamond file and a 2"X.25" metal match(grooved&epoxied to the little tiny screwdriver)where the plier jaws used to be.detents still work!the pliers broke but I couldn't just throw a wave away!

Eric,

Do you require the customer to send you a leatherman micra tool for fitting , or are they ready to order?

Thanks,

Steve

Hey Guys...

Brent....

Send it back for repair or order a new set of jaws....

I recieved my micra & my dragonfly sheaths last night & I can't stop playing with them.

The dragon fly is just a quick yank and it's in my hand.

The micra sheath is a little different, it requires you to hold the sheath in one hand and the micra in the other & use a "breaking motion", like snapping a pencil motion to free the tool.

This works great to prevent the tool from getting lost if dropped or kids messing with it.

I admit to having to ask Eric about the micra sheath as I thought it was just too tight.

I should have known that eric wouldn't have made it if not perfect.

This was my 3rd order from Eric & I have always been amazed at the attention to detail.

Way to go Eric !!!

let's see..

Car keys
House keys
Spark plug gapper
ASP Sapphire
Remington Choke tube wrench.

I figure if all else fails, I can use the choke wrench as a handle, and turn my keys into an impact weapon.:D

Hey Eric, Just wanted to say those sheathes look REALLY cool. I had been making due with the long bulky, "take-apart" keychain thingies. Probably be emailin' ya soon to see if you could whip somethin' up to fit a zytel handled Spydie Mini-Dyad.

Eric,

I'm having trouble sending you an email. I keep getting a message saying that the email address is not recognized?

Steve

are some keys. . .and a Heineken bottle opener. :(

Have been waitin' for one of those Dogman mini-fixed blade key ring additions. . . :D

Hey Uncle..

Excellent..

Thanks much....

I'm glad you got it working...:)
I guess I should have expllained how to do it first Eh..LOL:)

Runs.....

Sure a mini Dyad wouldn't be a problem at all..Spydercos are excellent for making neck rigs..They have nice features that make the job fairly easy...
