I carved this last Saturday at my Church's Fall Festival. Came our pretty nice.
The tool I used was a loop carver like the ones used in shaping clay. It is a triangle tip with a 1/4" radius at the tip. I made it from a strip of thin W2 (old clock spring). Edge is pretty sharp on both sides of the loop.
What are you folks doing for decorations?

Well, I guess it could be, but I am not that handsome.
It started out as a mountain man, and sort of morphed into a pirate that looks like Einstein. Kids have say it looks like a wizard.
