I am very curious about this small design. As far as I konw, Perrin is an expert on knife fighting. Can any of you guys find that this small knife have benifits on martial arts? To me, it seems to be less useful than a Coldsteel minipal push dagger.

First, welcome to the forums...

Now then, What's it designed for? *Starts laughing*

I know it sounds silly, but aren't all Perrin's knives designed with martial purposes? La Griffe, Street Bowie...

It's definately a defensive knife. And given what people have accomplished with razor blades, box cutters, screwdrivers, etc, I think it is practical (if not ideal) for this purpose.

Well, I love mine...its not much more than $100 anyhow. Just get it....you know you want it ;)

I admit I like small knives! I guess that proves that I am NOT compensating for any "shortcomings" :D

Anyway, the perrin is cool. I love that sheath. I would like one for my mini fang.

I have looked at them for a while. They look useful for a number of purposes besides defense. I only wish we could carry fixed blades here.:(

I, too, wish I could legally carry my Perrin here in Ca. Its a great little knife, and to be honest, I still carry it every once in a while. Same with my La Griffe. I usually carry them when out walking at night, around town. And I don't think it really is THAT costly...
