Whats Smoother?

I've had several of both and I found that each model had varying opening smoothness depending on the knife. The D2 FG Para 1's were like butter as were the Orange Millies, compared to other paras and millies in my experience. I've never had a Seb yet but the FG D2 Paras I had and the Orange Millies were as smooth as any knife I have ever owned, even compared to the Gayle Bradley which to me is a production knife benchmark for smoothness outside of a Sebenza.

orange millies? sweet, i have one coming in the mail from a trade. im now really psyched!

For me, it's the Para 2. With the pivot bushing it makes for an extremely smooth opening and closing knife.

Ok guys...

So i received my orange millie today. First let me say that this knife is just plain massive... The Benchmade 710 that i had seemed so much smaller but much heavier. I can definitely say that the para 2 wins.... The new bushing system that Spyderco uses is just fantastic.

However, the pocket clip on the para 2 (hourglass) is much better than the straight-esque one on the millie. Both are lightning quick, but i think that the millie is a tad bit faster.

And i think that the compression lock is more of a fav locking mechanism than the liner lock...idk thats just a first impression on my part. especially the new comp lock it is much more comfortable than the old one.

idk just my thoughts...

lemme know what you guys think!
