What's "Stellite"

Question for you guys - I was just on KnifeArt, and saw a Lightfoot M-1 with a "Stellite" blade. What's Stellite? New grind? New steel? Composite?

I beleive that Stellite and Talonite are almost the same material

It is a metal invented back in the '20s with NO iron, lots of chromium, tungsten and cobalt..you can get more detailed info at http://www.carbideprocessors.com/ Stellite 6k is made by Deloro and Stellite 6bh is what we call Talonite.
