So, I've noticed that people (including myself) have a hard time referencing my sheaths, because the different styles aren't named. Unless you're talking about the Expedition sheath you have to describe the style you're talking about. So I decided to take action and name a few more
! I wanted the names to be themed with each other.... and I already had the "expedition".... so bare with me on this one... and keep in mind, the theme did actually start out as a joke....
We'll start off with the Expedition sheath... the Expedition sheath features horizontal straps and a fully adjustable belt hanger (pictured below).

Next up is the sheath formerly known as "snappy-style expedition". It is now the Explorer sheath
. Like the Expedition, the Explorer also features horizontal straps and an adjustable belt hanger. The main difference is the Explorer also has a retaining strap with a snap, and it tends to be for larger knives, like Spanish Dirks (below). And as of right now (according to Christof, who's reading over my shoulder), for all knives with blades over 12", the Explorer comes standard with D-rings for baldric carry.
With D-rings:
Next we have the Ranger sheath. The Ranger has been referred to as the "EDC carry sheath" in the past. It has a folded over belt loop that is stitched to a single strap. It is generally considered to look a little dressier than the Expedition sheath.
