There is no such thing as a best Jag! Destroy them all and let Benchmade sort it out!

I think the best jag would be the one with the black overlays. I got lucky though and picked up the PC (259 I think) Snipe had for sale and saved myself the trouble of messing with one.

I like the black with silver overlays myself. The overlayed one's seem to be more cylindrical to me anyway and roll in my hand nicer. But on another note, theres really no such thing as the best jag 'cause they all suck but I'm sure everyone knows that.

As far as durability goes, the one you have is the simplist of the lot, and will hold up to the most abuse. Ignore the heritics, the silver Jag is the best starter out there for those of us who couldn't start on a BM. That said, I have 2 42's, but the Jag still gets tossed in to the work out from time to time, plus they are fun to hook in friends with

>>The one that you sell so you have more money to put towards a BM 42

You want to sell all your rip off copies of Benchmades in order to have the money to buy an origional? What a novel idea

But what about the balance in the trade deficit. For every Taiwan rip off copy of a balisong that you buy, they have the money to buy ammunition from us to maintain themselves as a nation free from China rule.

You do not want to tamper with that delicate balance do you? (Don't get me wrong, I am not choosing sides in the Taiwan - China discussion. I am sure China has a few good point on their part as well) JohnR7

For every ripoff made in Taiwan, there is money being stolen from an American. Don't get me wrong, I understand Taiwan's situation but couldn't they avoid stealing other people's ideas? Why is it that stealing a website is really bad, but stealing a knife design is not? I work in a body shop and have noticed a considerable quality difference in most Taiwan/china/mexico made parts. They are usually made from inferior materials and don't usually fit right. Yet, these are the parts that most insurance companies have put on your car after an accident.

I will buy American when I can but if I find a product made elsewhere that is of good quality I'll buy that too. I refuse to buy stolen ideas though. But I guess that it just my moral upbringing.

Our product designs are copied all the time. It's been my experience that when the customer finally realizes the QC involved with the imports that they deside to come back to that good ole american made product!

Good point, but not all products from other countries, namely Taiwan, are ripoffs or of low quality. There are diamonds in the rough too. Many companies such as CRKT, Outdoor Edge, and Spyderco are showing that quality and originality can come from other countries. I would without hesistation buy from any of these reputable companies.

Hey Dave, agree with you but the key word was reputable!
