I've just seen so many variations of cf, I'm wondering what people's favorites are.

I only own one: A BM 210TK Snody Activator. While the black carbon fiber is superb, the silver G10 looks almost like carbon fiber!

I'm interested in getting a BRKT Northstar or mini with black carbon fiber scales.

the best looking cf scales i have seen are on the new benchmade limited edition 806-701 and 806dm-701. But good luck finding either of these.

Just in terms of appearance I was always partial to the glossy finish Spyderco used on some of their limited CF folder runs like the Delica and the Civilan. Had a great 3D look to it.

imho the best looking carbon fibre was on the microtech LCC, the ones with CF anyway,

A thread like this just isn't worth continuing without someone stating the obvious, "This thread is worthless without pics!"

The look of the CF on the Delica CF I had was superb, but the finish at the pins, screws and ferrell were horrible, cracked, swollen, with the sharp edge of the ferrell sticking out. Living near SFO has its benefits. The folks there said there was nothing to do about the finish but gave me full credit @ the Spydie store, leading to me finding my favorite EDC, the E4W and a couple of Byrds to boot.

As for favorites, I'd say the slabs on the Protech Brend #1 are as nice as I've seen.
