What's the best oil to use on micarta?

I've read about guys using mineral oil and vegetable oil to accentuate the micarta colors. Do all oils work on the micarta, or only certain types? What about vitamin E oil? How about olive oil? Virgin or extra virgin?

I could use an extra virgin...

There are those who swear by WD-40 also.

Any oil will work but some will seem to have a "drier" finish (WD-40, Marvel's).

I have also used kitchen oils as well as various brands of CLP (Break Free, etc.). Just slather them on and wipe any excess

I've used vegetable oil and Palm oil. Both worked well.

As Strabs said make sure you wipe off the excess
