What's the best place to get GECs from?

I've been getting mostly Case knives lately, but I decided I NEED a couple of GEC knives. I've got a Pioneer and a Scout (with 1095 blades) that have become two of my favourite users.

I want to add a Cuban and one of their jacks with sheepfoot main blade, perhaps a barlow...

My usual suppliers (JB Outman and Knifeworks) don't work with GEC. Where can I get them for a decent price? I would prefer to be able to pay using PayPal.

Tsa knives.com
Knives ship free.com
Some other suppliers are listed on gecs site
I have also used gpknives.com although their selection is smaller

collectorknives.net
cumberlandkniveworks.com
soonerstateknives.com
knivesshipfree.com
gpknives.com

There are a few more, but those are all places I've dealt with and been pleased with.

Thanks a lot for all the answers. I'm going to give collectorknives.net a try, he has some other stuff I'm interested in.

I guess I'm late but I get all my GEC's from Jim at River Raisin Knife Co, he does several things that I feel are above and beyond for an online Dealer;

- Gives great detail pics of BOTH sides of every knife
- Cleans every knife before he ships it out
- Includes FREE USPS Priority Mail shipping (not First Class Mail - Priority w/Delv Confirmation)
- Will talk at length about which knife is best for you (whether collecting or using)
- Not to mention he has great prices!

Also, there is a new Forum dedicated to GEC knives on All About Pocketknives - if you get the bug and want to share what you've purchased drop by there and post some pics!

River Raisin certainly has outstanding galleries of photos, what you see is what you get.

Greg at TSA Knives gives excellent service as well, both of these sellers are ultra professional in my experience AND I live outside the USA.So, if they look after international customers then 'domestics' need have no fear.

I got mine from TSA Knives. Greg ships fast and "cherry picks" for you if you ask.

I have had great service from Kniveshipfree too, on other on-GEC items.

All mentioned here are top notch. You need to just find what fits for you and give them a try. Things to take into consideration are price, selection, satisfaction policy, and customer service. Call the dealer up and ask them any questions you might have to insure they are accessible to assist you.

Price: Most all distributors will be within a dollar or two of each other on price and some have a low price guarantee. Selection: This varies with how long the distributors have been selling the product line and how many they can stock at a time without feeling the pinch of a big inventory. There are a multitude of aspects to satisfaction and customer service that are more / less important to each individual.

Some will take pictures of each knife put into stock to allow customers to pick the exact one they want. That is great for the first couple of customers, as you get the best of the bunch (early bird gets the worm). Others will randomly pick one of each variant for a stock picture and check the knives for defects during packaging. That insures the last customer's money gets the same chance at the cherry as the first.

Most that offer free shipping use the same method as paid shipping. USPS Priority w/DelConfirm is standard with folks I have talked to; but that would be something to verify beforehand.

To be honest, you have taken the right first step by asking these guys here. They don't mind telling you how it is; whether it be good or bad.
