Ive got a bit of an obsession with s90v. Working with it on boats and the farm it just performs flawlessly. Edge retention and toughness is a must for cold wet crab lines that need cut off pots and replaced. So far Ive got a BM 940, Para3 and military 2 in s90v. What should I be looking at to add to the stable?

The Spyderco fluted CF Native is my favorite:

Anything in M390 😉

Machinewise - they test each blade and put that on the COA card, so you know you're getting something that is treated correctly/well. I have both the Senora (but in 20cv) and the Mojave and both are excellent folding knives.

Yeah but if I drop a CKF knife into the Chesapeake bay I think id have a heart attack lol

Fair enough, I missed that lol. I'd probably use my Para 3 Lightweight in that case, since it has less metal to rust in it. Also, this might be a little out of left field, but have you tried fully serrated knives? You won't find them in S90V, but they might function longer for cutting lines since 1. The wear is distributed over more edge length crammed into the same blade length and 2. They concentrate cutting pressure into little points, ripping material effectively even when they dull a little.
