I'm going to the US virgin islands on vacation shortly. I'm going to be doing a lot of snorkeling and probably a little diving and theres no way I'm going without a knife of some sort. Id prefer a fixed blade and ordered a BM 100H20 but I'm wondering if theres somthing else better in the same >$100 range. If I could have gotten a spyderco salt in time I would have gotten that too just to have with me for general beach time when I wouldnt want to carry the fixed blade. I really wanted a fixed for the open water time.

I'll definately be fine with the benchmade but I'd like to have my ducks in a row a little more for next time.

If I had to pick a folder, I'd snag a Spyderco Tasman Salt SE. I can't really anything wrong with keeping a fixed blade and a folder on you when you go out. If you drop the fixed blade, you'll have a backup.

Mission titanium.... if you can find one....check the new laws in other countries on dive knives .... some can only be 3" as in Mexico.Or any cheap titanium on e-bay ...dive knives are usually lost in the water.

Its a US territory so they use the US dollar and have US laws. The hotel said I should have no problems if its legal here.
