whats the best way to fix a bent clip?

I bent the clip of my D2 para -- it caught on a chair I was sitting on. I know I can take it off and just bend it -- but I've had issues in the past getting the tension just right. Any tips?

well taking it off and incrementally tightening it is what i would do, or you could buy a new one through SFO, or an STR lowrider.

when you bend it, use a flat surface to gauge the tension before reattaching.

I'm just tall enough to hook the pocket clip on the metal bracket around the retention slots in doors so I've had to do this a few times. I just take the clip off and turn it back into relative shape with a pair of pliers. It ain't pretty, but it works.
